Website design for surgeons and consultants

Websites for surgeons and consultants

A surgeon’s or consultant’s site is mostly a profile: training, registration, what you treat and how a first consultation runs, written so that a patient can check every claim. We design, build and run it.

What the site has to do

  1. A profile patients can check

Training, registration and memberships written out in full, and the hospitals where you see patients.

  2. Procedures explained

What each procedure involves, the consultation that comes first and the recovery, with the risks stated plainly.

  3. Patients from abroad

Up to three languages in the subscription, each written for its readers, with Arabic set right to left; more are quoted separately.

  4. One way in

One clear route to a first consultation, on every page and one tap away on a phone.

The rules that apply

What the rules in each country we serve ask of this kind of website, in plain words. General information, not legal advice: each rule names its source.

Questions

Can the site call me a consultant?

In the UK, CAP’s guidance keeps “consultant” for doctors who have held a substantive NHS consultant post or its equivalent abroad, and “surgeon” for those with FRCS or an equivalent. We write your titles to match your register entry.

Do you build sites for patients abroad?

Three of the sites in our portfolio belong to İstanbul ENT surgeons, in up to five languages. Up to three languages are part of the subscription; more are quoted separately.

Can patients book on the site?

They reach you by a number that dials when tapped, by WhatsApp if you use it, or through a short form, and a booking system you already use can be linked from every page.
