Bright & Marlow Dental
Treatment pages that calm nervous patients, with fees in plain sight and booking in two taps.
A two-chair private dental practice in south Manchester with word of mouth any clinic would envy, and a website that quietly undid it.

The challenge
For a large share of dental patients, the obstacle is not price or distance but dread. People delay check-ups for years, and when they finally search, they are looking for reasons to feel safe. The old site offered gleaming stock smiles and a fee list buried in a PDF: the look of exactly the hard sell nervous patients fear.
The practice was also hard to find and harder to read online than the corporate chains around it. Thin pages, no structured data, and nothing that told either a search engine or a nervous patient what makes an independent practice worth choosing.
The approach
The design brief was a waiting room you would actually relax in: calm type, photography of the real practice and the people in it, and treatment pages that answer the three questions nervous patients ask. Will it hurt, what will it cost, and how long will it take, all answered before asking anything in return.
Booking was cut to two taps from any page: pick a time, confirm. No account, no form marathon. Fees sit in plain tables on the page itself, because a patient who has read the price calls ready to book rather than ready to negotiate.
Locally, we built treatment and area pages with specific, honest copy and the structured data search engines expect from a practice. It is unglamorous groundwork, and an independent clinic owes it to itself.
What we delivered
- Full design and build around anxiety-aware treatment pages
- Two-tap appointment booking reachable from every page
- Plain fee tables published on the page, not in a PDF
- Local search groundwork for south Manchester
- Photography direction for the real practice, with no stock images
The outcome
The practice now meets nervous patients the way its waiting room does. Treatment pages answer will it hurt, what will it cost and how long will it take before asking anything in return, and fees sit in plain tables on the page rather than in a PDF.
Booking takes two taps from any page, at any hour, with no account and no form marathon. Putting it off no longer has the upper hand.
