Website design for dental practices

A dental practice’s site has to say who treats patients and how each dentist is registered, explain treatments without overselling them, and make booking easy from a phone. We design, build and run it, in up to three languages.

## What the site has to do

1. Who treats you A page for each dentist: qualifications and where they were gained, registration number and the languages they speak.
2. Treatments in plain words What happens, how many visits it takes and what recovery involves, with fees shown where your country allows them.
3. Booking from a phone A number that dials when tapped, WhatsApp if you use it, opening hours as text, and a short enquiry form.
4. Kept current Fees, hours and the team change. Edits are part of the subscription, so a change reaches the site without a new project.

## The rules that apply

What the rules in each country we serve ask of this kind of website, in plain words. General information, not legal advice: each rule names its source.

### United Kingdom

- The practice site shows its name, address, email and phone, a link to the GDC’s website, the complaints procedure and whom to contact, and the date it was last updated. [Guidance on advertising](https://www.gdc-uk.org/standards-guidance/standards-and-guidance/gdc-guidance-for-dental-professionals/guidance-on-advertising), General Dental Council
- Each named dentist’s qualification, the country it was gained in and their GDC number are given. [Guidance on advertising](https://www.gdc-uk.org/standards-guidance/standards-and-guidance/gdc-guidance-for-dental-professionals/guidance-on-advertising), General Dental Council
- “Specialist” is only for a dentist on a GDC specialist list; others can say “special interest in”. [Guidance on advertising](https://www.gdc-uk.org/standards-guidance/standards-and-guidance/gdc-guidance-for-dental-professionals/guidance-on-advertising), General Dental Council
- Advertising is accurate and not misleading, and prices are clear. [Standards for the Dental Team, Principle 1: Put patients’ interests first](https://standards.gdc-uk.org/pages/principle1/principle1.aspx), General Dental Council

### United Arab Emirates

- A dentist may not advertise themselves, directly or through someone else (article 19). [Federal Law No. 5 of 2019 on the Practice of Human Medicine](https://uaelegislation.gov.ae/en/legislations/1201), United Arab Emirates
- The clinic’s website needs MOHAP’s licence for healthcare advertising before it is published. [License for a Healthcare Advertisement on a Website or Digital Link](https://mohap.gov.ae/en/services/license-for-a-healthcare-advertisement-on-a-website-or-digital-link), Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP)
- In Dubai, only the title on the DHA licence is used, with no superlatives and no promise of certain success. [Standards for Medical Advertisement Content on Social Media (DHA/HRS/HPSD/ST-21, version 1.1)](https://dha.gov.ae/uploads/042022/Standards%20for%20Medical%20Advertisement%20Content%20in%20Social%20Media2022433965.pdf), Dubai Health Authority

### Türkiye

- No advertising in any medium: the site may inform about the clinic, its service areas and services, without exaggeration and without steering patients to it (article 24). [Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Hizmeti Sunulan Özel Sağlık Kuruluşları Hakkında Yönetmelik (Resmî Gazete 06.10.2022, Sayı 31975)](https://www.resmigazete.gov.tr/eskiler/2022/10/20221006-1.htm), Resmî Gazete
- Online, only the name on the licence and the certified specialties are used (article 25). [Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Hizmeti Sunulan Özel Sağlık Kuruluşları Hakkında Yönetmelik (Resmî Gazete 06.10.2022, Sayı 31975)](https://www.resmigazete.gov.tr/eskiler/2022/10/20221006-1.htm), Resmî Gazete
- No fees, discounts, campaigns or patients’ thank-you posts used as promotion; the date of the last update and the editor’s contact are shown (article 5). [Sağlık Hizmetlerinde Tanıtım ve Bilgilendirme Faaliyetleri Hakkında Yönetmelik (Resmî Gazete 12.11.2025, Sayı 33075)](https://www.resmigazete.gov.tr/eskiler/2025/11/20251112-2.htm), Resmî Gazete

## Questions

**Can the site show our fees?**

It depends on where you practise. In the UK prices must be clear and shown as the total; in the UAE accurate prices are acceptable, while a discount needs a licence first; in Türkiye a site that patients in the country can see may not show fees. We draft the page for the country you practise in, for you to check.

**Can you add before-and-after photos?**

Where your country’s rules allow them, and only with each patient’s written consent and the wording those rules ask for. Where the rules do not allow them, we leave them off.

**We already have a website. Can you move it?**

We build the new site, redirect every old page address to its new page, and show you the whole site on a private preview link before anything changes. Moving the old content across is quoted in advance.
